Walking holidays in Scotland
Weekend breaks
Get away from it all with one of our fabulous Scottish walking weekend breaks. These weekends have the same informal atmosphere as our day tours, but give you more time to relax and enjoy the awesome scenery of the Scottish Highlands.
Explore the diverse variety of coastal and mountain scenery of the Isle of Arran, or the glens, waterfalls and gorges of the Coe and Nevis ranges - famous for being the backdrop to many Hollywood movies.
Choose from:
Glen Coe and Glen Nevis Grade:
A long weekend break featuring an ascent of Britain's highest mountain and exploring two of Scotland's most famous Glens - Glen Coe with its jagged and dramatic peaks, secret lost glens and famously dark history, and Glen Nevis with its surrounding high peaks, gorge and waterfalls. Of course 'The Ben' itself just has to be part of the itinerary!

Scottish Wilderness Adventure Grade:
A short weekend wild camping expedition to the Loch Laggan area in the Central Highlands - featuring one of mainland Scotland's most unspoilt and picturesque wilderness areas.

Monarch of the Glens Grade:
The stark beauty of the Scottish highlands has been the backdrop for many films and television productions over the years. Most recently, the area around Laggan and Speyside has provided the scenic setting for the BBC series 'Monarch of the Glen', now filming its fourth series.

Hadrian's Walk Grade:
A long weekend hiking break to Cumbria and Northumberland just over the Border in England, featuring the classic views and historical sites along Hadrian’s Wall footpath.

All our weekends include:
- Pick up and transport from Edinburgh (or en-route by arrangement)
- Qualified Mountain Leaders
- Lunch on the hill
- Half or full board accommodation
