just wanted to drop you a short note to say that my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our vacation in Scotland!

Thanks so much for a great trip! Every day was better than the one before, and Ian was an amazing guide- incredibly smart, funny, and attuned to everyone's needs and abilities. We couldn't have asked for a better Scottish adventure! Kathy and Paul PS. Not sure who the first 3 women were- there were just 8 of us and Ian…lets hope they weren't in the trunk the whole time!
In any case, thanks Walkabout!
I think they were the invisible ones who ate all the cake
Hi Ian–hope this finds you well. Like Kathy, Paul, Ilya, and Andrew–we found the trip spectacular.
I know that I had no expectations as to what to expect so I would not have been disappointed with most anything. Instead Julie and I were so thoroughly wowed by the Scottish Highlands–the countryside is magical, the vistas like none we've experienced, the trails beautiful, the b&b's friendly and quaint—and then there's Ian.
To mirror Ilya, Kathy, and Paul–Ian is made to guide the highlands. He's a bright light from the first minute to the last each day–knows more about where you are and the history of it that I'm pretty sure he makes up a lot of it ;-)(just kidding)–and he just laces it into the day like meat in shepherds pie. What a treat.
So, the long and short–great place to vacation, wonderful "walking", terrific guide…couldn't have been better!
